Jamberry Beret is a sour ale we made with a new genetically modified yeast that creates lactic acid called Galactic. At the beginning of fermentation we added copious amounts of Blackberry along with some Blueberry and Lingonberry to provide a medley of fruity aromas and flavors. Lingonberry is also known as a mountain cranberry as they have very similar characteristics.
